Strattera is used to treat adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It works by increasing the levels of norepinephrine and dopamine in the brain. This increase in both the levels of these neurotransmitters can improve attention, concentration, and impulse control and reduce performance anxiety and overall mental health in people with ADHD.
Strattera does not improve other neurotransmitters such as serotonin or dopamine. It is not recommended for use in patients with a history of severe heart or liver problems. It is not helpful in people with a history of bleeding problems or ulcers. It should not be taken by individuals who have jaundice or liver problems.
Strattera requires a prescription from a doctor. Withdrawal of Strattera does not significantly affect the physical characteristics of the tube. However, if you experience any of the following symptoms, you should stop taking Strattera immediately: nausea, vomiting, new severe hereditary degenerative eye�en disease (JAE) of the nigro-striatal duct, changes in your urine, sudden hearing or vision loss, prolonged and severe life-expectness (e.g., hallucinations, coma, orITThe medication that causes seizures).
